Happy Thanksgiving!



The recent storms left us blanketed with
lots of snow.  I was getting worried we weren't going to be able to go anywhere, but it did stop snowing and the sun came out today.
  My back yard and deck. 

As you can see we've gotten a lot of snow!  Our official snowfall count is 13"

I've been stuck at home a lot lately so I broke my own rule and started to decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving.  
I've got my mantel done, my santa's sleigh and a couple of other things.
  
The tree will be next after we're back from our Thanksgiving with the family.
I will zoom in on the mantel in my next post!

  1. Liz, your holiday decor looks so pretty! What I would give to be surrounded by boxes and glitter, instead of dust and paint...lol! The snow looks so beautiful. Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!

  9. Wow you have really gotten a lot of snow. It would sure put me in the Christmas mood. We don't have any snow here and I really haven't gotten in the mood yet. Your house is looking great!

  10. 13" of snow! Wow! Our mountain house only get 16" per year and I was a little worried about that since we're lucky to get an inch or two here in Charlotte! In your defense of decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving....Thanksgiving was really late this year!

  12. AH HA! Now I know how you got so much done. While I was traipsing all over Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia, you were decorating! LOL! I don't blame you, I nearly froze to death some days.
