Thanksgiving Dining In The Kitchen

I've created a simple centerpiece that can be removed easily for serving pieces to be added.  I rummaged through my things and put this table together.

These pilgrim turkey S & P shakers are the only thing new this year.  I couldn't resist them!

My world outside has the same colors as I chose for the table.  We're nearing the end of the leaves falling but the seasonal colors are still showing.

I made sure to add some green in with the harvest colors and it coordinates with the Pilgrims.

Since there is a fair amount of the harvest tones with the tablecloth and dishes I used my white chargers and flatware to break it up a bit.  The white plate is my everyday Mikasa  (Antique White)

The leaf and wheat trimmed plates are from Pier 1 and Williams Sonoma respectively.  I used the wheat plates "here" on the plate rack last November.  I also used the leaf plates as seen "here"

A stop at the local bakery yielded these cute decorated turkey cookies!

I thought about digging out my pinecones and faux florals to mix in but I really wanted to be able to clear this away easily.

I am thankful for your visits!  I hope you'll leave a comment so I know you've been here!

Salad plates from Pier 1 called Asheville (still available)
Dinner plates from Pottery Barn- Banded Botanical (last year no longer available) there is a new turkey plate that has a coordinated wheat design available now.
Stemware from One King's Lane- five years ago (no label)
White chargers from Pier 1 (they've been offering these for a good while) and I've had mine for at least 4 years.
Flatware from Horchow called San Remo- lots of colors to choose from (watch for their sales)
Tablecloth from T.J.Maxx 2014

  7. Beautiful table setting! I have been so tempted by those pretty Fall plates at WS and other places. I too have a set of Antique White that I recently retrieved from the big china cabinet and moved to the kitchen. I have enjoyed using it again -- just forgot how much I like it, I guess. I am going to follow your lead about an easily removable centerpiece. Great idea!
