I kept the dining table simple but wanted some glam!
Each year I attach a wreath upside down to the chandelier and add some ornaments to hang below.
This year I chose crystal icicles and birds…
The table runner adds some glam and sparkle.
The mercury glass bowl has made an appearance many times on the blog. Keeping a little bit of the rustic lodge feel I loaded it with some pine scented potpourri and added an antler. It's a refreshing smell to pass by each time!
Adding to the glam and rustic I chose the glass cylinders filled with the gold beaded woven spheres and some snow!
I had a light bulb moment! (ha ha) I realized that these new red bow napkin rings I recently got from Pier 1 would work nicely to put on the chandelier. I pulled them down low on purpose but they could be closer to the bulbs. I just felt this was the look I wanted.
I'm so tickled that I could add these red bows and with virtually little effort on my part!
I also added a pair of red pillows to the two head chairs of the table. Last year they were in the living room but ended up displaced this year.
Sorry about the dark pictures- it's turned into winter here and the sunny bright days are much fewer!
Next I'll finalize my holiday decorating posts in the kitchen dining area!
